Background
Feminine Touch Fabrics was originally established by Frances Hyde in New Hartford, NY. For 28 years her business thrived. She decided to retire in March, 2008, seeking to find a new owner for her beloved store, looking for someone to reinvent and grow her baby. Answering that call, Linda Miller Poore and Cheryl Ann Costa formed Dragon Lady Media, LLC and purchased the inventory and name, locating their new establishment in the Delavan artist's center on the West Side of a reviving downtown Syracuse.
Inspired by their artistic neighbors, Linda and Cheryl nutured the craft and art of creative sewing for self and home in Central New York by making available a delightful variety of designer and unique textiles, offered at reasonable prices and supported by superior customer service.
In 2010 after two years of evolving the business and continued growth Linda and Cheryl decided to upscale the store again and moved the whole operation to a traditional retail enviroment on Erie Blvd East.
