Philip
R. Van Horne, President
As
President of BlueRock, Phil is responsible
for overall company operations and
strategy. His 25+ years of energy
experience includes trading and marketing,
contract negotiation and administration,
wholesale back office operations,
interconnection, power system planning
and systems development. Phil founded
BlueRock after serving as President
and COO for Niagara Mohawk Energy
Marketing, Inc., where he oversaw
all aspects of operations for unregulated
retail and wholesale natural gas and
electricity. Prior to that, Phil was
with Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation
(NMPC), where he dealt with all aspects
of wholesale power, including serving
as lead negotiator on FERC matters,
and acting as NMPC's representative
on the NY Power Pool Operating Committee.
Phil worked directly for the NY Power
Pool before joining NMPC, where he
was involved in imports to New York
from Canada and operations of the
interconnected network. Early in his
career, Phil worked for General Electric,
where he was involved with utilities
nationwide on a range of planning
and strategic issues. He is a founding
member, past Chairman, and Executive
Committee member of National Energy
Marketers Association. Phil holds
a B.S. in Electrical and Computer
Engineering and Master of Engineering,
Electrical and Computer Engineering
from Clarkson College of Technology
(now Clarkson University).
Angelo
F. Chambrone, Vice President
Angelo
directs sales and marketing operations,
market expansion, and business planning
for BlueRock Energy. In his 16+ years
of experience, he has worked on the
development and marketing of natural
gas and electricity products to end-user
retail customers in every major deregulated
market in the Northeast. On the regulatory
side, Angelo has actively participated
in rate cases, rate plan settlements,
retail market development panels,
and state proceedings on the formulation
of deregulated energy markets. Prior
to joining BlueRock Energy, Angelo
was Manager of Market Planning for
Select Energy NY (formerly Niagara
Mohawk Energy Marketing, Inc.), a
$200 million sales organization. As
such, he handled overall market planning
for the organization, regulatory affairs,
business and sales planning, product
development, pricing, tariff analysis,
business development and creation
of retail agreements. Prior to that,
Angelo was with Niagara Mohawk Power
Corporation, where he worked in gas
supply planning, gas operations, industrial
marketing, corporate finance, and
engineering project management. Previously,
Angelo held various positions at General
Electric Aerospace. Angelo holds a
M.B.A. from LeMoyne College and a
B.S. in Accounting from the State
University of New York, College of
Technology at Utica. |
